Built into The Master's piano, Mont Guignol is a gloomy city made even more foreboding by great tragedy. In 87 M.G., the Tri-Starred rose in rebellion against the "Brothers Edict" and many Sluagh and Sprites were lynched. Their corpses, decorated with paper wings and signs reading "Ce n'est pas mon frére", were hung from the Ivory Keys. The city was liberated by Colonel Jules des Larmes, though he fell in the so-called Battle of Blackshine. The colonel's son, Tristan, had the defeated rebels de-winged and hung from the top of the piano with signs reading "Bienvenue frerés."
The Butterfly Spider: Standing in the main square is a spider idol brought up from Colonel des Larme's basement campaign, embellished with fanciful crystal butterfly wings made by master craftsman Auguste Fabergé. It is a... controversial piece of public art.
Imperial Conservatory: As the piano held The Master's sheet music, it has become a leading center of musical study not just in The Realm, but throughout The House.
Tournoir: "The Ebony Castle". Built on top of the piano, this fortress still bears the scars of the Tri-Starred rebellion - visible damage that the Marquis has not allowed repair to, deeming it "wartime art."
