Chapter I: Nearly had Joya, a prize-winning bumblebee, stolen from her by "Walter Rivler", her now former secretary.

Chapter II: Accompanied Viscount Protopoplov's entourage through Wallachia (where absolutely nothing out of the ordinary happened) and back to Paso de Umbral. Later she bit several littlings (to death) for no discernible reason, before "being stopped" by Malakai.
