Malakai Rosach

Prologue

Born: ???, circa 72 M.G. (Age 28-ish)

With only scattered memories of his childhood, Malkai came to Downridge an orphan at about the age of six with a group of refugees fleeing The Basement. He was taken in by a pair of academics from the Free University of Clockminster, who brought him home and adopted him.

Malakai thrived in the Free Dominions, becoming a master of the lancetta and attending the University at just the age of 16. After completing his studies, he earned a commission in the Porcelain Army just as it was being integrated into the Imperial Army. After years of growing discontent, he resigned to commission to begin searching for his past.  

In VIII H.C., Malakai was sent to the notorious Deepdown Prison for killing Doña Luciana Morena, although he quickly escaped with some mysterious help.
